The explosion at Ariana Grande concert was so horrifying that it frightened everyone. Police confirmed there have been a number of fatalities. According to the reports, 19 people have been killed and approximately 59 people are injured in the suicide bomb attack at Manchester Arena.
The police said the incident was being treated as suspected terrorist attack. The explosion took place outside the Arena, which is near the Victoria transit station. A footage showed thousands of people escaping the area in fear after the blast.
The explosion has taken place outside the arena, in the public foyer, after 10:30 pm. The injured people were admitted to the nearest six hospitals across Greater Manchester and some "walking wounded" had been treated at the scene.
An eyewitness Karen Ford told the BBC, "The lights had come up and everyone was getting out and walking towards the stairs, and suddenly this huge sound comes, which seemed like an explosion went off. Everyone started running towards stairs and pushing people up. There was a lot of children without parents. People are screaming, crying and pushing each other as there were no one to calm them down.
Another eyewitness said, "It was a lot a screaming and a lot of people calling out names and it was the time we realized it was something bigger than what we thought at the beginning.
Ariana Grande is 'broken' after this explosion and she expressed her sadness on twitter. She twitted:
